Open Consultancy: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

The Mesoamerican Territorial Fund (FTM) is a direct investment mechanism of the Mesoamerican Alliance of Peoples and Forests (AMPB) that supports, through sub-grants and capacity building, organizations of indigenous peoples and local communities in Mesoamerica.

Our projects span from Mexico to Panama, with the support of various donors, and address issues such as sustainable livelihoods, territorial rights, climate change adaptation and mitigation, biodiversity conservation, and the preservation of traditional knowledge.
See our Interactive Map for more details.

To ensure adequate follow-up, the FTM has developed the AMECLA system (Accompaniment, Monitoring, Evaluation, Collaboration, Learning, and Adaptation), which promotes transparency, accountability, and capacity building in our partner organizations.

We are currently accepting applications to hire a Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant with experience in the region and in the management of indigenous and community territories.

If you are a professional in social or environmental sciences, have extensive experience in project implementation and monitoring, and would like to work with local and indigenous communities in Mesoamerica, we invite you to review our terms of reference and submit your application by September 30, 2025.
